Kylian Mbappe has shown no interest in engaging with representatives from Al Hilal regarding a potential move to Saudi Arabia.
After receiving a world-record offer of €300m (£257m) from Al Hilal, PSG granted the Saudi club permission to negotiate with Mbappe. However, despite Al Hilal’s representatives being in Paris this week, no meeting has taken place between them and Mbappe’s representatives.
Insiders from PSG believe that Mbappe is refusing to entertain discussions with Al Hilal because he has already committed to joining Real Madrid as a free agent next summer when his contract expires.
Al Hilal’s offer was contingent upon reaching an agreement regarding the payment schedule, as well as the signing of contracts between the clubs and between Mbappe and Al Hilal.
PSG is aware of the interest of several clubs in signing Mbappe, with at least five believed to be actively pursuing him. It is worth noting that the offer from Al Hilal is not the only one that the French champions have received.
